THE ECOLOTEC® PROCESS :
The Ecolotec system converts Regulated Medical ("Red Bag") Waste into ordinary Municipal Solid Waste. This means that the resultant sterile output can be safely disposed as regular waste.

- The Ecolotec® bowl tilts for easy loading and un-loading
- A touch screen allows user to close the lid and start the process
- The vacuum system eliminates cold air volume and allows more steam into the bowl on start up
- The Ecolotec® utilizes steam which is the most economical energy source for processing medical waste
- The violent action of the cutting blades allows steam to penetrate the waste more efficiently and eliminates the possibility of cold spots
- The resultant waste is unrecognizable and reduced by 80%.
- Post processing, the treated waste is suitable for regular disposal
- Real time data is digitally displayed for operator convenience
- All machine processing data is stored for future retrieval
- In the event of an interruption in the normal processing cycle, the operator can switch to the “ARMS” mode, which allows the machine to continue autoclave processing
